World
Farm Animals Day takes
place on or around October 2nd. It
is a time dedicated to exposing, mourning,
and memorializing the needless suffering
and slaughter of the more than 50 billion
cows, pigs, turkeys, chickens, and other
sentient animals in the world's factory farms
and slaughterhouses.
Join
us by bringing World Farm Animals Day
to your community.
Anyone
and everyone who cares about animals can
participate. Observances are held in all 50 U.S.
states and two dozen other countries. Activities
range from simple outreach to creative,
attention-grabbing events:
leafleting, information tables, video screenings,
lectures, vigils, marches, protests, cage-ins,
die-ins,
and much more. See photos of past activities
below.
