World
Farm Animals Day (WFAD) observed
on (or around) October 2nd, is dedicated
to exposing, mourning, and memorializing
the
more than 58 billion cows, pigs, turkeys,
chickens, and other land animals who needlessly suffer and die
in the world's factory farms and slaughterhouses.

For this year's observance, animal agribusiness will be confronted by activists around the globe. In addition to promoting a vegan lifestyle, caring people and organizations will reveal the ways that animal agribusiness manipulates the government, institutions, and a well-meaning public in order to sell more of their cruel products.
New handouts and a webpage complementing this theme will be available shortly. For now, make sure to check out our action center!
