If you've turned on a TV or logged onto the internet recently, you no doubt know about the huge buzz generated by the egg hatchery investigation performed by Mercy For Animals.
The compelling footage documents the horrific fate that every male chick born into the egg industry faces by being ground up while still alive. If you have not yet seen the video, check it out on MFA's website or scroll to the bottom of this page.
FARMandMFAare teaming up this World Farm Animals Day to ensure that the momentum gained from all the positive press is not lost. The only thing better for the animals than personally going vegan is inspiring others to do so as well. To make outreach activities a success, we are offering free copies of MFA's award winning documentaryFowl Play for activists to either screen publicly or show as part of their outreach events.
The film runs 52 minutes, and each DVD comes with a 25 minute version that can be shown if time is short. We highly encourage activists to show the full length movie- ideal venues include college campuses, public libraries, churches, and recreation centers. Ideal screenings would include food and a question and answer session. For free vegan food, please check out VegFund and for detailed information on putting on a public video screening, see Tribe of Heart's two-part movie screening guide.
You can request the DVD when you registering online by clicking the "Fowl Play" box. Feel free to email outreach@wfad.org or call us at 1-800-FARM-USA with any questions.
Once you have requested the DVD, promote your screening with the printable Fowl Play flier.
