Washington will offer, in the café, the free class “A Menu of Love: The Vegetarian Lifestyle Class.” Don Robertson will address some of the most common questions, misperceptions, and challenges that arise with regard to a adopting a plant-centered diet.

Features: This month's Compassion Over Killing feed-in will be in honor of World Farm Animals Day at the Takoma Park Street Festival. The 27th annual multi-cultural music and crafts festival in downtown Old Takoma is expected to attract 10,000 festival-goers from all around the Washington metropolitan area.Compassion Over Killing will be offering orange "chicken" to attendees, along with literature to help them transition to a more compassionate diet. It's a fantastic opportunity to show the public how easy and delicious it is to choose vegetarian foods. Please join us!
