Date/Time: ASAP
Location: High School Earth Science

the curriculum in both general science and earth science
focuses on environmentalism. Being a vegan and
environmentalist myself, I stronly encourage my high

eat meat and dairy products simply because tradition
and their parents say they should. I find that the
youth is the perfect target to inspire and educate
regarding matters that FARM brings to the public's
attention. I would love to present a days worth, if
not a weeks worth of material to my students regarding
environmentalism and its ties to factory farming
in particular. Thank you so much for the work you
all do at FARM and for inspiring me to help put this
information out there to the young people who have
the potential to change the world!

Leafleting / Literature Distribution, Classroom Activity
Date/Time:
Location: SUNY Ulster
Features: I am
a member of the SUNY Ulster veterinary technician club,
and I want to distribute information regarding
the plight of farm animals--it's so overlooked. For
example, the vet tech club was planning a "pet expo",
yet invited "Brook's BBQ" to come as a fund-raising
event...the intention of the vet tech club is to
help animals, and promote animal welfare; yet, they
overlooked the fact that serving factory-farmed meat
to fund their "animal welfare" programs was entirely
hypocritical. My goal is to "open their eyes" to
animal suffering. I would like to have an event at
my school to promote animal welfare beyond cats and
dogs.
