a Veg Dinner Event in Houston, as we're also celebrating
our 4th Annual "Texas Veggin'-out Days" Campaign,
which is held each year on WVD & WFAD. At our
dinner, we'll be giving a short presentation on WFAD
& the importance of an ethical vegan lifestyle,
plus guests can enter to win copies of Gene Baur's book
Farm Sanctuary. On October 10, we will have a Vegan
Bake Sale & outreach table in Houston during the
lunch hour. Later that night on October 10, we will
have the distinct honor of having Rutgers Professor
Gary L. Francione as our featured speaker for our
Vegan Dinner Event in the evening. He will speak about
the abolitionist approach to animal rights, ethical
veganism and non-violence. Then on October 17,
we will be supporting the Town Hall Forum on plant-based
health in Houston, featuring Dr. Baxter Mongtomery,
Dr. Neal Barnard, T. Colin Campbell, Dr. Caldwell

Outreach For Animals And The Earth is a non-profit
corporation based in San Antonio, TX. Our mission
is to educate the public about animal rights, animal
welfare, veganism, vegetarianism, and environmental
issues.
On Saturday, October 3, we will have
a World Farm Animals Day demonstration. This demonstration
will be conducted compassionately, legally and
peacefully! We will meet on the sidewalk at Alamo
Plaza, directly across from the Alamo. There will be
"animals" in a cage, an information table with free
literature, and a video screening via computer. Our
goal will be to increase public awareness of the
suffering that all farmed animals endure.
Please
come out and support those who have no way to defend
or speak out for themselves!

The 13th annual Charlottesville Vegetarian Festival (CVF)
will be held -- RAIN OR SHINE -- on Saturday, September
26, 2009 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm in Lee Park.

The CVF is a free, outdoor celebration of a healthy
and humane lifestyle that brings together diverse
individuals and organizations who want to make the
planet a more healthy, sustainable, and compassionate
place for all to inhabit and enjoy. One of the largest
vegetarian festivals in the United States, this
one day event typically draws about 6,000 visitors
